Structure

Subject Suggestions

For the FE1 exams, the Law Society requires you to sit four exams in your first sitting. You must pass three of those four exams to carry passes forward. Many students opt to sit four exams in one sitting, and then four in the next. You could bear the following in mind when making choices.

Many students find constitutional law and EU law the longest courses and it's a good idea to split them between sittings.
There is some overlap between contract law and equity and it's a good idea to keep them together if you can.

After that, it's largely a matter of choice, but if you want to discuss this in any more detail, call Brian Foley on +353 85 1483709 or email at brian.foley@gcd.ie
