Study a Griffith Design Course Part-time Whilst Working
If you’re looking to turn your hobby into a career, or enhance your creativity, it is possible to study the two-year Diploma in Interior Design and the three-year BA in Interior Design on a part-time basis by attending two evening classes a week and a number of workshops on Saturdays.
Students are taught by practising designers and architects and the degree course content includes Analytical and Architectural Drawing, Building Technology, Visual Culture and Theory, Furniture and Fittings, Lighting Design, Visual Merchandising, Sustainability and Conservation, and Business Practice Management. The programme also includes Revit, AutoCad 3-D, AutoCAD, as well as the traditional communication tools such as model-making and free-hand drawing.

After graduating Trish decided to progress to the 4th year of the BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture programme.
Winner of Dublin City Female Entrepreneur Award 2011, Deirdre Hardiman, studied the Diploma in Interior Design. Deirdre felt that studying at Griffith gave her both the creative and technical skills, and the confidence to start her own business, Hepburn Designs.
