An Insight Into The Irish Innocence Project

Investigative journalism skills are essential when reviewing potential miscarriages of justice

“I would say almost all students describe their experience working on the Innocence Project as the most important experience of their college career . . . it’s not just an academic exercise. These are real lives they’re working with, real cases.”

Anne Driscoll, US Fulbright Scholar and Manager at the Irish Innocence Project

Last week The Irish Times visited the Irish Innocence Project’s offices at Griffith College to find out more about how the Project works and how award-winning investigative journalist, Fulbright scholar and now the Project’s manager, Anne Driscoll, has paved the way for law and Journalism students to work collaboratively at the Project. Read about it on the College's blog and watch The Irish Times' video.
