The Leinster School of Music & Drama’s annual showcase, held last Friday at Griffith College’s Dublin campus, was an eclectic mix of movement, mime and performance. The event featured students from the LSMD’s Higher Diploma in Arts in Music Education, the Certificate in Music Teaching, the Higher Diploma in Arts in Drama Education, the Certificate in Drama Performance, and the Certificate in Drama Teaching courses. For the first time this year it also included student-directed pieces from the new Applied Directing drama module.

“It is a pleasure to see such inspiring and exciting performances by our students at the Leinster School of Music & Drama Showcase here at Griffith College. The college takes great pride in the dedication to excellence and talent that is on display. We would like to wish all of our performers the best as they embark on their promising music and drama teaching careers.”

The showcase has gone from strength to strength each year – it gives students a platform on which to unleash their creativity in the form of poetry, prose, drama, mime and dance. It was the culmination of a tremendous amount of work and commitment from the students. So congratulations to all students involved!
