School workshops: a great way to learn more about your course choice!
With the initial CAO deadline on 1st February, most Leaving Certificate students will by now have made their level 6/7 and level 8 course choices.
Whether you have chosen business, computing science, design, law, media or one of the many other programmes available at Irish third level institutions, now is the time to find out as much as possible about the courses you are interested in.
A great way to get hands-on experience of college life is to attend an open day or other on-campus event. This provides direct contact with faculty staff and students, and a chance to explore the college’s campus and facilities.
Griffith College is hosting a range of events for transition, 5th and 6th year students this spring and summer. Schools Week 2014 runs on 10th, 11th and 14th March, and features business, computing, fashion, media and law workshops and competitions, providing a fun environment where students get a taste of what these courses have to offer.
Our April music revision and maths revision workshops are ideal for Leaving Cert students studying these subjects, and take place on 23rd, 24th and 25th April.
Finally, our Creative Week which runs from 29th May to 4th June is open to all ages where work by our fashion, media and computing students is displayed.
