Biography

Seamus is a graduate of University College Cork where he undertook his degree in Economics. He completed his Masters in Economic Science at University College Dublin and subsequently completed further postgraduate studies in business and education in NUI Galway and UCD respectively. Seamus has successfully led and managed the Business Faculty over the past ten years and he has overseen a significant increase in the Faculty’s size coupled with the development of a number of new programmes and a number of successful external Faculty reviews. He has extensive lecturing experience primarily in economics and marketing to both third level and professional students and he has also lectured in Russia and Pakistan. In addition, he was previously Head of Griffith’s international campus in Karachi. Seamus has a keen interest in career development and has delivered a number of seminars in Ireland and has just recently published the Griffith College Careers Handbook which is also available to all Griffith alumni. Seamus is also a member of Griffith College’s Marketing and E Learning committees.
