Biography

Prior to beginning his academic career, Mark was Head of Marketing and Communications for Deloitte in Ireland where his role included responsibility for research in the areas of marketing and new product/service development. He is currently a Director of Upgrade Education Ltd. Since 2005 Mark has acted as a Lecturer and member of the Engineering and Innovation Board of Studies at the Open University and a Lecturer in the Lifelong Learning Faculty at the South East Technological University, as well as Griffith College. He has supervised over 600 dissertations and research projects, mainly in the areas of innovation, strategy, human resources, leadership, marketing strategy, management, research methods and learning and development. He is co-author of a book, 'Doing Your Thesis - a practical guide'.
