This in-depth module provides the learner with a comprehensive knowledge of how computers work. There are two main strands to the module. Computer Architecture addresses how the individual components work together. The second strand concentrates on the Operating System.
The Computer Architecture and Organisation from HDC course is conducted on a part-time evening basis over a 12-week period. This course combines modules on both Computer Architecture and Operating Systems
You will gain a firm understanding of computer architecture, how a computer's individual components work together.
You will gain a strong awareness of computer operating systems, the software that allows all the components to communicate and manage data.
Small class sizes ensure that you get the one-on-one attention needed to perfect your computing skills.
An evening classes schedule allows you to balance your study with your work/life commitments.
