Griffith College's Tanya Doyle to sit on panel at Dublin International Film Festival

Griffith College are delighted to announce we are going to be sponsoring the Short Film Awards at the Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival 2020.

The VDIFF Short Film Awards aims to shine a spotlight on emerging Irish and International talent in film form and receives hundreds of applications each year.

Shortlisted submissions are reviewed by a panel of judges made up of industry professionals, this year including our very own Tanya Doyle, Programme Director for Film and TV at Griffith College.

Tanya said of the event, “The Dublin International Film Festival is a landmark event in the Irish film calendar and each year exceeds the last in terms of the sheer talent on display. I’m thrilled to sit on the judging panel for this year’s short film competition and can’t wait to see what some of the film industry’s future shining stars have to offer.”

The Dublin International Film Festival is recognised worldwide as a platform which promotes the best in emerging international and Irish film culture. The festival is attended by guests and industry members from all over the world. The short film awards are presented by an international jury of actors, festival programmers, producers and distributors who vote for the best Irish and best International short films.
