Congratulations are in order

Mr Stephen O’Leary, managing director of well-known social media analysis firm Olytico, was today awarded a Professional Excellence Award by Griffith College at the institution’s annual graduation ceremonies.

The award, conferred on individuals who have achieved outstanding excellence in their chosen profession or field, recognised Mr O’Leary’s commitment to accuracy and integrity in the harnessing of data. A graduate of Griffith College’s media faculty, Stephen founded Olytico in 2009. The company is noted for its insight and analysis of social media and works with some of the largest brands in Ireland and internationally. A noted media commentator, Mr O’Leary is a regular contributor to Bobby Kerr’s radio show on Newstalk FM.

Mr O’Leary is a former lecturer at Griffith College. In 2014, he was awarded the President’s Award for Academic (Teaching) Excellence by the College. Stephen is also the incoming Vice President of Dublin Chamber of Commerce and will take up the position of President of the Chamber in 2023.

Griffith College President, Professor Diarmuid Hegarty, commended Mr O’Leary on making a lasting impact in the area of social media analysis and in helping to ensure safer and more informed online communities.
