Sinéad has experience across a wide range of educational contexts including Early Years Montessori Education, Primary Education, Post-Primary Education, Special Educational Needs Education as a July Provision Tutor and a Special Class Teacher in a school affiliated with the Brothers of Charity. She's also worked in a SEN residential setting and as a State Examinations Commission Superintendent for the Leaving Certificate Examinations.
Furthermore, Sinéad worked with Early Years professionals as a Smart Start Tutor for the National Childhood Network and as the SUAS Development Education Team Coordinator in 2017 when she managed a team of 12 young adults, volunteering as teaching assistants in schools across Kolkata, India. Sinéad has experience teaching in Ireland, India and Cambodia.
She is currently completing her MA in Advanced Facilitation Skills for Health Promotion and Well Being with WIT and her dissertation will focus on inclusive second level environments for LGBTQI+ students in Ireland.
When she isn't teaching, her most enjoyable pastime is participating in sports including camogie, soccer, running, cycling and tag rugby. She has spent many enjoyable years working as a Multi Activity Sports Instructor.
