She has over twenty years’ experience in delivering business education and training courses at third level institutions.

In addition to being a highly competent teacher, Catherine is an experienced training practitioner, having designed and delivered training courses for both indigenous and multi-national companies based in Ireland.

Catherine's teaching philosophy is as follows:

"I believe that learning should be seen as an active, rather than a passive process. I aim to provide an atmosphere where my students can grow in their abilities to think critically, problem solve, synthesise information, and express their ideas both in written and verbal form.

My reward comes from seeing my students’ succeed. I get to see people’s love of their subject increase, their academic performance improve and I can guide them in their choice of future career."
