Our people - Colm O'Mahony

Colm O'Mahony is the Director of Studies of the Griffith Institute of Language in Cork. He has been involved in English Language Education since 2009. After gaining his CELTA qualification in 2008 he promptly departed to Jakarta, Indonesia, where he lived and worked until 2018.

Academically, he is interested in materials development and classroom discourse. Since moving into academic management he has become more interested in teacher training and development. 
Outside of work, Colm's interests include collecting vinyl records, watching soccer and reading.
