BSc. Computer Science (Trinity College, 1987), M.Sc. (1991) and PhD (2004) in Computer Science from UCD.

Biography

Dr Faheem Bukhatwa is a senior lecturer at Griffith College Dublin.

Faheem kick-started his career in aviation as an apprentice in aircraft maintenance with Aer Lingus and later received the qualification for the maintenance of JT8D Pratt & Whitney Turbine engines.

He was the Technical Director of Libyan Arab Airlines from 1980 to 1982. And in 1991, he became a member of the project team (PT 13V) of the European Telecommunication Standards Institute (ETSI) at Sophia Antipolis, France.

Faheem lectured at the University of Benghazi from 1994 to 1999, and joined Griffith College in 2005 where he lectures in operating systems, communication networks, and communication security at BSc, Higher and Postgraduate Diplomas and Master Degree levels.
