BA in in Philosophy and Psychology, MA in Applied Linguistics
Iziar first did a primary degree in Philosophy and Psychology before going on to do an MA in Applied Linguistics. Her areas of interest are psycholinguistic and sociolinguistics. She has done research on intercultural pragmatics, worked as a Spanish lecturer in UL for a number of years, and has been part of the team in Griffith since 2014. She currently teaches both English and Spanish, bu has also taught translation, having translated scripts, documentaries and even a literature Nobel laureate. She has also worked as an interpreter at press conferences and interviews.
