He has taught on the day and evening programmes and across all years. He has an MA in Design Professional Practise, A BA in Environmental Design and also holds an H-Dip Education (Teaching and learning) as well as completing a Certificate in Teaching and Learning. John has worked in Industry for over 25 years on a variety of Interior Projects in Retail, Hospitality and Leisure design as well as residential and secular projects. He has worked on Projects in Ireland, the UK, America, the Middle East, China, Russia and Australia for a variety of clients including Macy's NYC, Saks Fifth Ave, Donna Karan, Selfridges, Movies @ Dundrum and the Catholic Arch Diocese, Dublin and . He has spent a number of years living in in the US and has also spent time abroad working in the Middle East and Australia. As part of his research, he has completed, presented and published a number of papers on his work in Education, as well as organising a number of exhibitions of students project work and research here in Ireland and in the UK.
