Biography

Kate currently lectures in Visual Culture & Theory and History of Architecture & Design at various third level institutes in both Dublin and Cork to undergraduate, postgraduate and part-time students. She delivers lecture series that enhance the students’ critical awareness of design and culture and she also supervises students through a substantial piece of academic writing, guiding them to an analytical and critical understanding of key historical and theoretical writing, research practices and methods. Her research interests include cities, the street and critical design.
