What will my Graduation involve?
- Those who have completed their courses will receive their award at a ceremony arranged by the college and attended by the College President, academics, and invited guests.
- Ceremonies take place in person in November. If you do not attend your ceremony, you will be conferred in absentia.
- Those attending will register in advance for their academic robes for the ceremony and apply for up to two tickets for guests to attend. Professional photographers can also be booked to capture the moment with you and your guests.
- During the ceremony, the President of the College will present you with your award certificate. Those who do not attend the ceremony have the option to collect their parchment or have it mailed to them in the weeks following the ceremony.
How do I prepare to attend the ceremony?
- Please register your interest in attending and book your required academic robes.
- When you book your robes, you can also book your guest tickets. Please note: tickets are strictly limited to 2 per graduand.
- Optionally, book a professional photographer to take photos on-site after the ceremony. Graduates arrange this directly with the photography company, not through the college.
- Information and links for all of the above will be provided closer to this years ceremonies.
- You will still be considered a graduate following the ceremony, even if you do not attend.
- You will be contacted by the Graduations office in advance of ceremonies and can then arrange to either have your parchment posted to you, or to collect your parchment from the college, in the weeks following the ceremonies. You will find more information here.
- Please note: Collection or postage of parchments will not be permitted until after the graduation ceremonies have concluded.
- Note the exact day and time of your ceremony
- Ensure you have booked your robe and tickets.
- Arrive an hour in advance of your ceremony with your guests.
- Follow the signage to collect your academic robes for the ceremony.
- At least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins: Guests should make their way to the auditorium and graduating students should make their way to the academic line-up area to join their class.
Limited parking spaces are available on the grounds of graduation venues.
The college will communicate information with you directly via the email address we have on your file. Please always keep your personal details up to date to receive all communications released.
