Graphic Communication Design Students Visit Boys+Girls Advertising Agency
Griffith College’s Graphic Communication Design students recently had the exciting opportunity to visit Boys+Girls, one of Ireland’s leading creative advertising agencies. Located just a short distance from the Dublin Main Campus, the visit gave students a unique chance to experience the world of professional advertising and creative strategy first-hand.
Inside One of Ireland’s Leading Advertising Agencies
Boys+Girls is widely recognised for its bold and creative campaigns for some of Ireland’s best-known brands, including Three Ireland, An Post, and Centra, to name a few. The agency has built a reputation for producing impactful work across advertising, branding, and digital campaigns.
For students studying Graphic Communication Design, visiting an agency of this calibre provided an invaluable opportunity to see how creative ideas are developed and executed in a real-world environment.
Learning About the Creative Process
During the visit, students received engaging presentations from members of the agency’s team, including Creative Director Kris Clarkin and Strategist Jenny Murphy.
They shared insights into the day-to-day workings of a creative agency, the role of a Strategist, the importance of finding insights from a brief, and walked students through the process by which Boys+Girls created the successful campaign ‘Jeff’s World’ for leading telecommunications provider Three.
