Our people - Paromita Sengupta

Paromita is Director of Studies, Griffith Institute of Language, Griffith College Limerick. She has a PhD in English from the University of Calcutta, India and has taught English Language and Literature at graduate and postgraduate levels in various colleges in India between 2002-2019. In 2020 she was awarded the Govt. of Ireland International Education Scholarship to study Masters in Media Studies in Mary Immaculate College (MIC), Limerick, Ireland. 

Paromita has published books and articles in international journals and translated books from Indian languages to English and vice versa. Paromita is also a filmmaker and has made short fiction and documentary films.
