Our people - Umesh Rana

Umesh is a Senior Auditing Lecturer with Griffith College and has been with the college for over ten years. He has lectured ACCA, ACA and CPA courses at all levels in both our Dublin and Cork campuses. Prior to joining Griffith College, Umesh accumulated over 11 years of diverse and practical auditing experience with Ernst & Young (U.K.) and Pricewaterhouse Coopers (U.S.). Umesh's strong, no-nonsense, 'hands-on' auditing experience makes his lectures very popular amongst students. His theoretical knowledge applied to "real life" audit situations/examples, ensure that students learn how to apply that theoretical knowledge to scenario's appearing in exams and achieve the best results compared to national and worldwide ACCA students. Since he started lecturing, Umesh's lecturing style has seen his students win over twenty-five national ACCA prizes.
