Faculty of Law Celebrates Black History Month With Students & Staff

Black History Month at Griffith College

Griffith College Dublin's Faculty of Law marked Black History Month with a dynamic celebration for staff and students on Tuesday, October 14th, at the Dublin Main Campus. The event, chaired by Precious Abebe BL, Programme Director of the LL.B. (Hons) Blended Learning programme, centred around the theme "Standing Firm in Power and Pride."

A distinguished panel featuring Joy-Tendai Kangere BL, Aishah Akorede (Miss Universe Ireland 2023 and law graduate of the faculty of law at Griffith College Dublin), and Blessing 'Blessyn' Kure (graduate of the faculty of Journalism at Griffith College Dublin) brought together a wealth of experience and unique insights. The panellists shared powerful personal stories of resilience, cultural pride, and overcoming adversity in their academic, professional, and personal lives.
