12 Griffith College Students Nominated for 2026 SMEDIAS Awards
The nominations for the National Student Media Awards 2026 have now been announced!
We are delighted to share that 8 students from the Faculty of Journalism and Media Communications, 3 students from the Creative Arts and Screen Media Faculty, and 1 student from the Business faculty have been nominated for the National Student Media Awards 2026. Ireland’s most prestigious annual national student media competition.

It is fantastic to see our students up for national recognition across the digital communications sectors of radio, journalism, photography and magazines.
This year's black-tie awards event will take place at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road in Dublin on Wednesday, 29th April.
