Biography
Tommy has lectured in history and politics at Griffith College Dublin since 2012.
A history enthusiast, he is the founder and director of Historical Walking Tours of Dublin. He is also a presenter of Newstalk’s ‘Talking History’ and a regular contributor to the Moncrieff Show.
He is founder and editor of History Ireland magazine and is convener of its lively Hedge Schools, an ongoing series of round table discussions. (Podcasts available @ https://www.historyireland.com/hedge-schools/)
Tommy has a desire and ability to popularise Irish history to the widest possible audience while at the same time maintaining the highest academic standards.
