This course will provide learners with the appropriate transversal skills and knowledge essential for effective management within a business environment. It enables learners to appreciate the role and importance of the management function and to understand how organisations need to adapt to a dynamic and changing business environment. It explores the relationship between an organisation’s strategy, its culture, and communications policies and procedures, along with the financial management of a business. It furthers learners’ skills and abilities in terms of key aspects of effective management such as analytical skills, communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills. The structure of the course ensures that learners are able to develop their academic knowledge and practical management skills.
Learners who complete this programme are awarded a Certificate in Business Management from Griffith College. They also receive a transcript of results detailing their attainment in the component modules on the related QQI validated programmes.
As a bespoke certificate, with modules drawn from separate programmes, the Certificate does not lead to a separate award on the National Framework of Qualifications.
The next intake for this programme will be in September 2021, with induction held on the 16th of September.
