GRIFFITH GLOBAL EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP (GGES)

Griffith Global Excellence Scholarship (GGES)

The Griffith Global Excellence Scholarship is designed to recognise and reward outstanding students from around the world who demonstrate academic excellence and ambition. Open to both Undergraduate and Postgraduate applicants, this generous scholarship supports high-achieving international students in pursuing their studies at Griffith College. By investing in talented students from diverse backgrounds, Griffith College is proud to support future leaders and innovators on their academic journey in Ireland.

Applications for September 2026 intake  NOW OPEN
Application closing dates

31st May 2026 for applicants from visa-required countries for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate level.

30th June 2026 for applicants from non-visa required countries for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate level.

All non-EU students require a Study Visa to study in Ireland. However, please check here to see whether you need to apply for a visa to travel to Ireland.

Scholarship duration* Scholarship will be awarded for each stage (academic year). Subject to successfully completing the previous stage at a minimum of H2.1 and 80% attendance.

  • NON-EU: 50% tuition fee scholarship
  • EU: 25% tuition fee scholarship

Partner schools enjoy unlimited GGES places, subject to some programme exclusions and overall seat availability. GOVERNMENT OF IRELAND - INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP (GOI-IES)

Government of Ireland - International Education Scholarship (GOI-IES)

Griffith College is delighted to participate in the Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships (GOI-IES) programme.

GOI-IES applicants should meet all entry requirements for their chosen master's programmes at the time of application, i.e. academic and English language requirements. No conditional offers will be issued for GOI-IES applicants.
