GC50 Prize Winners Booklet Launch

The launch of the GC50 Prize Winners Booklet brought to a close the fiftieth anniversary celebrations of Griffith College. The booklet captures the story of the remarkable achievements of our alumni beginning in 1974 through to the present day. Over 700 alumni are featured in this legacy project which highlights the prestigious external awards earned by our alumni and showcases their success both nationally and internationally in competition with their peers from other respected institutions. We were thrilled to welcome back so many familiar faces from across the decades for this special evening.

In the years to come, we hope to see many more names across a range of disciplines taught in Griffith College added to this list. For now, the publication of this booklet brings to a close a special year and we look forward to continuing in our pursuit of academic excellence.

The event is part of GC50, a series of initiatives to mark Griffith College’s fiftieth anniversary in 2024. Founded in 1974 by Professor Diarmuid Hegarty, Griffith College enjoys a national and international reputation for student success. Many alumni have gone on to distinguished careers in fields as diverse as accountancy, business, computing, design, engineering, law, media and politics.
