New book aimed at the Irish market to aid in GDPR compliance

Since GDPR came into effect in May 2018, the world – even beyond EU borders – has had to rethink the way they store data. Nearly a year on, though, there are still questions around GDPR and exactly how to comply with it.

Clarus Press’s new book, Data Protection Compliance: A Guide to GDPR and Irish Data Protection Law, seeks to sort out a few of those questions. According to Clarus, author Laura L. Keogh’s book is “designed and written to assist with GDPR compliance and to allow the reader quick access to certain GDPR related questions.” As a guide to ensuring GDPR compliance, it is sure to be invaluable for anyone dealing with data protection.

Topics covered within the book will include when compliance is required, conditions under which personal data can be processed and transferred and more. Each major topic is broken down into individual chapters, providing readers with a comprehensive understanding of the subject.
