Our people - Colm Small

I am a proven results-oriented leader with over 25 years of experience across all facets of higher education, particularly in supporting learners. I’m an enthusiastic person with very strong strategic, communications, networking, operations, service and negotiation skills. I have extensive hands-on experience leading across all aspects of the student lifecycle and the learner experience at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I have led on health & well-being (mental health) services for learners and have deep knowledge of accreditations, institutional governance, and risk management. Throughout my career, I have been heavily involved in all things international and in careers support.

Volunteering is important to me and giving back to my Community. I am in my fifth and final year as Club Secretary to Cuala GAA.
