Biography

Elaine Buckley lectures in the Tort Law and Introduction to Law and Legal Studies modules and acts as a dissertation supervisor on the LLM courses. She also lectures in Banking law at University College Dublin. She is a barrister with a general civil practice and specialises in the areas of Tort, Judicial Review, Administrative Law, Law of Securities and Data Protection.

She holds a PhD from the UCD Sutherland School of Law, and the Barrister-at-Law Degree from the Honorable Society of King’s Inns. She holds a Professional Diploma in Arbitration from UCD, an LLM in International Commercial Law from UCD and also holds a BA in Law from Carlow Institute of Technology.
