Development ActivitiesAcademic Qualifications: LL.B in Irish Law, Barrister at Law Degree BiographyJames is the programme director for the Diploma in Legal Skills and Practice and is a lecturer on a number of programmes. He holds an LL.B in Irish Law and a Barrister at Law degree. He lectures to LLM, LLB and Diploma students in international commercial law, commercial law, international arbitration, ethics and conveyancing. He also lectures and tutors at the Honorable Society of Kings Inns. James is also a practising barrister in general civil practice. He has experience and a particular interest in judicial review, constitutional law, planning & environmental law, asylum law, education law, procurement law, Garda compensation and banking law. He has published over a dozen peer reviewed articles and frequently contributes an EU law update to the Commercial Law Practitioner journal. He is a member of the Irish Environmental Law Association.
