Our people - Sam Whelan

Sam joined QAED in 2019 and, since then, has gained extensive experience in programme development supporting faculties to validate and revalidate programmes in line with Griffith College and Quality and Qualifications Ireland’s (QQI) requirements. He has recently taken on the role of Programme Development, Project Manager in which he continues to support and build on the college’s reputation as a provider of higher education programmes. Sam also manages the Programme Proposal and Review Committee (PPRC), the college’s forum for the discussion and recommendation of new programme ideas and their viability.
