Sinéad holds a level 9 in Teaching, Training and Pedagogical Practices, a BA (Hons) in Editorial Photography (University of Brighton) and a Diploma in Commercial Photography (I.A.D.T)

Biography

Sinéad has delivered photography modules on the Photography and Journalism programmes at Griffith College Cork since 2004. She has also been the programme director for photography programmes at Griffith since 2007.

A successful photographer, Sinéad has shot for magazines and newspapers including the Independent on Sunday (UK), the Irish Independent and the British Journal of Photography. Her interests include all aspects of the photographic medium, particularly editorial photography, portraiture, commercial photography and fine art.

Sinéad was a panel member and picture editor for The Gathering-Reflections on Ireland book for the Irish Hospice Foundation; which was published both nationally and internationally. She also managed an editing team for Today FM’s US2 book and has taken part in a number of group exhibitions. Sinéad has a keen interest in teaching, learning and psychology which she brings to her classes at Griffith College.
