Biography
Stephen Doran is a broadcast and film editor, part-time lecturer, and Ph.D. student. Having started as an assistant editor in 1998, he has worked primarily for independent Irish production companies across a range of genres since 2003. Primarily active in the field of documentary editing, projects he has been involved in were commissioned and shown by RTÉ, TG4, TV3, Virgin Media TV, and for online release. A number of dramas he has worked on have won international awards (International Short Film Festival Oberhausen, 2007; Heartland Film Festival, 2006; Las Vegas Film Festival, 2009).
