Our people - Susan Gogan-O'Brien

Susan Gogan has worked as a professional commercial photographer specialising in fashion and
promotion, producing work for a variety of clients including Image Magazine, DreamWorks
Pictures, TG4, RTE, Getty Images and Fáilte Ireland. She also co-founded and managed The Light
Exchange studio, which provided photography hire facilities and evening courses in professional
photography.

In addition to her role at Griffith College, she has a visual arts practice making both photographic
and moving image works. Her work has been exhibited at: the Irish Museum of Modern Art,
Photo Museum Ireland, Temple Bar Gallery, Pallas Heights and the Royal Hibernian Academy in
Dublin; the Crawford Gallery in Cork, EVA International (Limerick City Gallery of Art) and the
Mermaid Arts Centre in Wicklow. Her film work has received awards from independent film
festivals in Berlin, Lisbon and Chicago.
