IFTN (the Irish Film and Television Network) announced the most recent list of creators to receive funding from the Irish Film Board. We're delighted to see that two lecturers on our BA in Film and Television Production have been awarded funding!

Pierce Ryan, who lectures in Screen Writing, was awarded funding for a project he co-wrote called Black 47. John Wallace, who lectures in Production, was awarded funding for the feature documentary he is producing called All The Numbers.

You can read the full list here.

In addition, Tanya Doyle's, Programme Director of Film, own feature documentary called The Ambush (produced by Daniel Hegarty of Marmalade Films) has been selected for the prestigious EDN (European Documentary Network) Docs in Thessaloniki pitch at the beginning of March.

Docs in Thessaloniki is a five-day program, where the selected documentary projects will be developed, re-written and pitched to a panel of international financiers. It's a fantastic opportunity for any documentary maker!
