Paul Byrne will launch poetry book

Griffith College is delighted to welcome Paul Byrne to its campus to launch his debut poetry book “Inspirational Musings."

Evening's Events

Paul will recite a number of poems from the book including, “Homeless Yet Hopeful” and “Madiba, Madiba”.

The event is set to take place in the college’s Conference Centre on South Circular Road from 18:30-20:00 and will welcome Dragon’s Den Alison Cowzer as the evening’s MC. Paired with Alison’s hosting, traditional music will be performed on the night by Liam O’Connor.

The Simon Community

Speaking of the event, Paul said, “I am delighted to be launching my poetry book at Griffith College’s Conference Centre on Wednesday 4 March, which was decided upon following encouragement from President Diarmuid Hegarty. I feel passionate about the great work that the Simon Community does to prevent and address homelessness hence the decision to donate tonight’s launch proceeds to the Simon Community.”
