Griffith College Ignites Passion for Coding in Leaving Cert Students
Griffith College recently hosted a vibrant event showcasing the exciting world of coding and the diverse range of courses available in Computing Science in a dynamic initiative aimed at fostering interest in technology among Leaving Cert students.
The event kicked off with an energetic buzz as students eagerly participated in interactive coding workshops. Griffith College's commitment to demystifying coding was evident as students, guided by experienced faculty, dove into realtime coding exercises. From creating simple web pages to developing basic mobile apps, the workshops provided a taste of the problem-solving and creativity inherent in computer science.
After some pizza for lunch and a campus tour, the event ended with an inspirational careers talk from Head of Faculty Dr. Waseem Akhtar.
