Students from the MSc in Global Brand Management course had the opportunity to enjoy a guest lecture from Consumer Strategy Director of Mindshare, Shane O’Leary.

From Griffith College to Mindshare

Shane commenced the engaging lecture discussing the importance of a story and its narrative. O’Leary took popular culture reference to determine the impact of a positive and negative story. To do so, O’Leary used examples such as Barrack Obama, Brexit, Donald Trump and Peppa Pig.

The College Experience

O’Leary, who also write for the Marketing Institute of Ireland is a graduate of Griffith College. He spoke of his fond memories at Griffith, including his time living at the Griffith Halls of Residence and the evenings spent in Arthur’s Café
