Honan Chapel - Griffith College Cork

Built in 1909 by the Honan family, the Chapel has been witness to the many guises that this magnificent building has adopted, from hospital to third-level College and everything in between. 

The beautiful deconsecrated chapel at Griffith College is a unique venue that has played host to a range of events since the college took up residence in the over 140-year-old building, including concerts, comedy nights and graduation ceremonies.

Most recently, the Honan Chapel hosted the Candlelight Concert Series.

The Candlelight Concert Series features a blend of classical and contemporary music performed in a beautifully illuminated setting. Each concert featured various styles of classical composition as diverse as Hans Zimmer, Coldplay and Vivaldi's Four Seasons.
