This is one single module from the Certificate in Photography. This module is designed to enable learners to explore the basic principles of digital photography including understanding input and output devices; workflow and post-production using the digital darkroom. Learners gain an understanding of the effective use of industry-standard image manipulation software and the processes from image capture to manipulation and output.
This module is suited to photographers (amateur or otherwise) who wish to learn more about workflow and the creative suite software. Learners will have access to iMacs, creative suite software and professional printers during classes and at the weekends.
The Digital Photography course is conducted on a part-time evening basis over an 12-week period. This course is aimed at ambitious beginner photographers and has an emphasis on photography’s aesthetic and social contexts.
