Below is a list of the core team at Innopharma Education.
finbarr

Finbarr has over 25 years of experience at senior levels within the Semiconductor and Pharmaceutical industries. He was director of continuous improvement & training with Wyeth, Newbridge, Co. Kildare, Ireland. Prior to Wyeth, he was a skills training manager with Intel Ireland, Co. Kildare. He also held the position of test development engineer with Analog Devices Incorporated, Limerick. In 2008, he established Business Excellence.ie and currently works with businesses across several sectors (including Pharma) in Ireland to drive business improvements. Finbarr’s expertise is in the following areas: strategy development, process improvement, creativity & innovation, lean thinking, Six Sigma, process measurement, training design & delivery, competency assessment, change management and neurolinguistic programming.

Rob

Robert is on a mission to develop the next generation of digital leaders. With over a decade’s experience in education & training, he has designed & delivered programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels with institutions including UCD, IADT, Griffith College, Dublin Business School, NCI, IBAT and others. Robert has delivered training to clients in North America, the Middle East and Europe, including Google, HubSpot, Citibank, DocuSign, BT and more. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Transformation, an MSc in Strategic Management and several industry certifications. ann mitchell

Ann is a Programme Manager and Regional Co ordinator in the Cork region.  More recently she has taken on the role of Programme Lead for the newest accredited programme, the Level 7 BSc in Process Digitalisation. She has worked with Innopharma in the Cork region for over 10 years and has grown the business from one programme in 2014 to over 9 programmes running locally in Cork. Prior to working in Innopharma Ann worked for over 20 years in the Financial Sevicces indusrty and worked in Manger roles with Bank of Irleand in their Priavte Banking and Resources Dept, Aon and Irish Pensions Trust. She holds a Dip in Learning and Development and financial awards from the IIPM and PMI. 

sandra

Sandra holds an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies and a Master’s in Human Resources and has worked in HR and learning and development for over 25 years in Med Tech and Pharmaceutical multinationals. After transitioning to the education sector almost seven years ago, Sandra has been responsible for establishing regional locations to deliver Innopharma Education programmes, liaising with industry in the West and North-West regions and supporting learners to return to employment. Sandra is currently Head of QA and Enhancement with Innopharma Education, responsible for academic policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with QA standards of QQI and collaborative partners of Innopharma Education.

aditya shankar

Aditya Shankar has been working as an International Marketing Liaison at Innopharma for the last 3 years. He has earned an MBA in Marketing and Finance, as well as a PG Diploma in Accounting from Trinity College Dublin. He has more than 6+ years of work experience. He has previously worked as a Program Coordinator at Dublin Business School and worked as an Account Manager and Assistant Manager in India. He is highly skilled in dealing with international student queries.

alan coomey

Alan is program support for the part time BA programs in Cork. He holds a PGDip in Bioinformatics.

Jennifer

Jennifer holds a PGDip in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology (QP Course), an MSc. in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance and a BSc. in Applied Science. She has over 20 years' experience working in Pharma/Biotech Industries, having worked in Viatris, LEO-Pharma and Gerard Laboratories. Jennifer has held various positions throughout her career spanning QC, QA, Logistics, Filling and Packaging Operations and Virtual QA with the latter 10 years in leadership roles. For the last 2 years she has been lecturing part time on Level 8 and Level 9 courses with Innopharma. In June 2023, she transitioned to a full-time position as Programme Lead for the Level 9 MSc./PGDip in Pharmaceutical Business and Technology supporting both international and domestic students. Jennifer also lectures on two of the modules, Process, Production and Quality Systems and Pharmaceutical Technical Transfer.

Carol

Programme Co-ordinator for the Griffith Undergraduate programmes; Level 7BA and L8BA Hons - Pharmaceutical Business Operations. Supporting the delivery of programmes and supporting students on their educational journey. Over 20 years experience as a Legal Executive, HR co-ordinator, Employment Officer working with people with disabilities of various categories. Training and Certification in Administration, HR, Employee suppport, working with people with Disabilities. Passion for helping students and assisting them on their educational and career paths. 

Mary-jo

Mary Jo is a Snr HR professional with extensive experience across industry from fast past Call Centre and Shared Service Centre environments in IT sector to the highly regulated Medical Device and (Bio) Pharmaceutical sectors.  Extensive experience of start-up and downsizing projects on small to large scale within both SME's and multinatonals.   As well as her HR Qualification Mary Jo holds a Diploma in Employment Law with Law Socieity of Ireland and a Dip in Mediation in Conflict Resolution with NUI Maynooth.  11 years with Innopharma Education working to transition both domestic and international students into STEM roles in industry post qualification using existing HR and buisness networks as well as working closely with government agencies and jobs forums.
