Donore Credit Union & Griffith College Announce 8th Annual Brendan Lynch Scholarship
We are excited to announce that applications for the 8th annual Brendan Lynch Scholarship are now open! The Brendan Lynch Scholarship was established in 2018 and is a partnership between Donore Credit Union & Griffith College Dublin. Every year, one student is awarded a scholarship worth €3,000, with 50% of the scholarship provided by Donore Credit Union and the other 50% by Griffith College.

As part of this year’s applications, Donore Credit Union are asking students to submit a short written piece (150–250 words) on:
“What made you choose the course you are studying at Griffith College, and how would this scholarship help you to pursue a degree?”
The Brendan Lynch Scholarship is open to all Griffith College Dublin students, regardless of programme or age. To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, you need to be a member of Donore Credit Union and enrolled in Griffith College Dublin.
The deadline to apply is Sunday, 26th October 2025.
