marmalade films

Marmalade Films' latest film, EAT / SLEEP / CHEER / REPEAT - directed by Creative Arts & Screen Media Head of Faculty Tanya Doyle - will have its world premiere at the Dublin International Film Festival this month on the 23rd of February.

The film, produced by Griffith’s Daniel Hegarty and his Marmalade colleague Sinead Ni Bhroin, is a surprising and uplifting coming-of-age movie following the young female and male athletes of Team Ireland, Ireland’s national cheerleading team, to intimately explore themes of gender, strength, performance, sexuality and what it’s like growing up in the world today.

The film will premiere at a sold-out screening on the festival's opening Friday night and will be released in cinemas across Ireland later this spring.
