Griffith College Bids Farewell to Ailish Finucane After More Than 30 Years at Griffith College

Yesterday, colleagues from across Griffith College came together to mark the retirement of Ailish Finucane, Head of Academic Administration, as she begins a well-deserved new chapter - fittingly at the start of the Christmas season.

After more than 30 years of dedicated service, Ailish leaves behind an exceptional legacy. Her strong organisational skills, approachable manner, and commitment to collaboration have played a vital role in supporting our campuses and faculties throughout her career.

Ailish has been widely recognised as a trusted problem-solver, an inspiring mentor, and a highly respected colleague. The appreciation expressed during her send-off reflected the significant and lasting impact she has had on the College and on those who have worked alongside her.

Her contribution to Griffith College has been considerable, and her presence will be greatly missed across the community. As Ailish begins her retirement, we extend our heartfelt thanks for her many years of dedication and wish her every happiness, good health, and fulfilment in this next chapter.
