Griffith College condemns the invasion of Ukraine in the strongest terms.
The College supports a peaceful resolution to this conflict and calls on the international community to do everything within its power to achieve such an outcome. All parties must fully respect international humanitarian and human rights law.
War has a profoundly damaging impact on a society and our thoughts at this time are with the people of Ukraine. Having been at the epicentre of two global wars over the past century, Europe has since benefited from decades of peace and prosperity. It is in all of our interests to ensure we never return to such dark days.
The College is in contact with its Ukrainian learners to offer academic and welfare support. We are also engaging with all learners impacted by this conflict to ensure they have the necessary supports.
The College will continue to seek ways to provide further practical assistance to our community of students, staff and alumni during this difficult time.
