Griffith College Cork's Annual Careers Fair

Griffith College Cork's Annual Careers Fair

Our Career & Industry Partnerships Office organised another successful Griffith College Cork Careers Fair on October 13^th in the Isabella Honan Chapel. The event welcomed employers and industry representatives from a range of sectors including Accounting and Finance, IT and Pharmaceutical Science, creating valuable opportunities for students to connect with professionals and recruiters from their chosen fields.

Developing Employability Skills

In addition to meeting potential employers, students benefited from a range of practical supports aimed at enhancing their career readiness. These included professional CV reviews, interview skills guidance, and professional headshots, giving attendees the opportunity to strengthen both their confidence and employability.

The event created an engaging environment where students could ask questions, seek advice, and learn more about internships and graduate opportunities, workplace expectations, and career progression.

Connecting Students with Industry

A key objective of the Careers Fair was to strengthen the connection between classroom learning and the world of work. By bringing employers directly to campus, students gained knowledge of current industry trends, the importance of networking, recruitment practices, and the skills most valued by employers.

Thank you to our exhibitors

Griffith College Cork would like to extend its sincere thanks to all the employers, organisations, and representatives who generously gave their time to participate in this year's Careers Fair.

Their expertise, advice, and engagement helped create a meaningful and inspiring experience for students. We look forward to continuing these valued industry partnerships in the years ahead.
