Griffith College Launches New Certificate in Digital Law and Regulatory Frameworks
Griffith College has launched a new Certificate in Digital Law and Regulatory Frameworks, covering AI, cybersecurity, privacy, data protection and intellectual property - five of the fastest-moving areas of law and business today. The programme is designed for professionals and graduates who need practical, job-ready expertise rather than theory alone.
Starting in September 2026, the Level 8, 15 ECTS micro-credential will be delivered over one semester on a part-time, blended learning basis from Griffith College’s Dublin Main Campus.
The programme focuses on the legal and regulatory challenges shaping today’s digital world, with specialist modules in Cybersecurity and AI Law, International Privacy and Data Protection Law, and Intellectual Property Law.
Designed for learners in legal, compliance, governance, business, administration and technology-related roles, the course combines pre-recorded lectures with live interactive workshops, giving participants flexible access to practical, career-relevant learning.
This course is funded by the Micro-credential Learner Fee Subsidy 2026 programme, and fees are subsidised at 80% for all eligible learner categories. Applications must be made via the Springboard+ website. Note: this is NOT a Springboard+ funded course. Please visit HEA - Springboard+ for further information. For Irish/EU applicants living in Ireland, the learner fee is €380.
