Griffith College's blended learning programme recognised
Griffith College was recognised for its BA (Hons) in Business Studies (Blended) programme at the Education Awards 2019 that took place in February at the Ballsbridge Hotel.
The award was presented to members of Griffith’s digital learning department and business faculty including Greg O’Brien, John Molohan, Emily Watts, Steven Roberts and Ronan Fenelon.
Head of Business at Griffith College Seamus Fitzpatrick said, “We are delighted to receive this award as it recognises the wonderful work of our lecturers and learning technologists.
We began this blended programme three years ago to facilitate students who were eager to further their education but needed a more flexible study option and we are very pleased that the programme has been so well received and that the numbers undertaking it have grown so quickly.”
The programme, which is delivered through weekly webinars, online lectures and activities, requires students to attend the campus just once a month for traditional lectures.
