Another short film entitled I Exist Because You Are Here, directed by Ingrid Machado, was selected for several international festivals, including The Rome Independent Prisma Awards, The Independent Shorts Award in Los Angeles, and The New York International Film Awards. This short film was inspired by people and the absurdity and simplicity of being human, and the brutal flow of emotions within. Ingrid Machado 'believes in the power of transformation that cinema has. It’s about being constantly fed by the process, constantly learning and exploring the connections between what I see, hear and read’.
